Well prepared for the endurance test in the Green Hell: BILSTEIN at the 24 Hours 2011 at the Nürburgring

The Nordschleife is one of the most demanding racetracks of the world. At this year’s 39. 24 Hours at the Nürburgring, from June 23 to 26 2011, the mayority of the vehicles goes into the race again with BILSTEIN shock absorbers fitted. Special attention will be focused on the Audi R8 LMS from Abt Sportsline, Phoenix and Audi Driving Experience, the Mercedes SLS from Mamerow-Racing and Black-Falcon. Celebrating its first overall Ferrari victory in the history of the VLN, Farnbacher Racing is now also a serious contender following its win in the 3rd VLN race 2011 at the Nürburgring. This year, too, Phoenix Racing will be fielding an Audi R8 LMS with the blue and yellow BILSTEIN design. Featuring Nordschleifen specialists Mark Basseng, Marcel Fässler, Mike Rockenfeller and Frank Stippler, this is likely to be one of the strongest driver teams. Besides vehicles competing for overall victory, the 24 hours of racing through the Green Hell are characterized by the jostling for position in the individual class valuations.
