More BILSTEIN technology at the VLN
BILSTEIN equipping new vehicles with racing dampers in the 2011 VLN
It all gets under way on the first weekend in April - that's when the VLN racing cars will be taking part in the first long-distance race at the Nordschleife in 2011. An equipment provider with a strong track record at the Nürburgring, BILSTEIN is fitting its Modular Damper System (MDS) units to the following cars for the first time this VLN season:
- Mamerow AMG SLS GT3
- Black Falcon AMG SLS GT3
- Farnbacher Ferrari 458
- Bonk Motorsport BMW M3 GT4
- Bonk Motorsport V3 BMW 320si E90
- Black Falcon V5 BMW 330i E92
- Wolf Renault Clio
- Düchting Seat Leon
- Michael Luther Motorsport V6 BMW Z4 M-Coupé
- Kremer Racing Köln Porsche 997
Roughly a third of the VLNL teams places their trust in BILSTEIN quality and use MDS dampers. MDS is BILSTEIN´s extensive platform of performance shock absorbers designed for professional racing. BILSTEIN has invested roughly 50 years of racing know-how in its shock absorber system. Three VLN championship winners in succession featuring BILSTEIN technology show just how at home BILSTEIN is at the Nürburgring and in motor racing. This season the BILSTEIN experts will once again be at the track-side to support the VLN teams.
